About Jonathan Demme directs a documentary about the life of the late Bob Marley, the Jamaican singer who popularized reggae music worldwide. The film has the blessing of the Marley family and aims to be release on February 6th, 2010, Marley’s 65th birthday.
My 5 cents An established director who's dabbled in music features before with Heart of Gold which grossed just under 2 mil at US box office in 2006. Bob has a legion of fans but bio-docos are hard sells.
Recommendation Short, however with a tie in release date and production in the works it has potential.
